First image is the cover to the new Against Me! release, two acoustic tracks in advance of the upcoming Transgender Dysphoria Blues. Which will probably be THE seminal artistic work by a trans woman in the history of the English-speaking world. (Okay, maybe second to The Matrix Reloaded.)
Next, a frame from the infamous “tucking” scene in Silence of the Lambs. Buffalo Bill being, of course, one of the most bizarre, inaccurate, and infamous cinematic depictions of a “transsexual” to ever grace the screen.
(I started this post before I’d noticed the mannequin in the back of both pictures… I’d guessed the art was meant to recall the scene, but no, the album art is literally adapted from a screenshot of the film.)
